Book Blogger Hop #11: December 9th - December 15th

Hello everyone! I'm participating in another book meme called the Book Blogger Hop which is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer!  Basically, you just answer weekly questions and then post up your link on the question's page.

This week's question is :

This week's question is submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews!

What is your best guess that you won't be changing the genres you're currently read?

I normally stick with paranormal, historical and contemporary romance and fantasy and horror novels, but if I've heard a lot of good things about other genres that I don't normally read like science fiction and non fiction, then I will occasionally pick up another genre if I find a book from that genre that is interesting enough.

  1. I've been trying to read more YA and science fiction but I have learned to be careful about what I pick up in both. For the most part I don't think I'll be changing too much!

  2. That is good you are willing to at least give a new genre a try.

I am stubborn and will continue to read what I always have read. :)

    ENJOY your weekend.

    Happy Hopping!!

  3. I really like your answer! You have your favorite genres, but are willing to consider others if you find them interesting. It can be very rewarding to move outside one's reading comfort zone now and then.

In my case, I prefer to stick with my favorite genres. However, I do want to get started reading Agatha Christie's novels. Although my favorite detective is Sherlock Holmes, I do think I'd like to get to know Hercule Poirot, thanks to Katherine @ I Wish I Lived In A Library.

I am much too chicken to read horror novels....lol.

Thanks for sharing! Thanks as well for stopping by and commenting on my own BBH post!! :)

  4. My problem is I want to read everything! LOL I like to read a variety of books, and I try to mix it up. It makes life more interesting. :-) Or rather, it keeps me from burning out on any one genre.
