May Monthly Wrap Up (2018)

Off the Blog:

Hey everyone!  I can't believe that May has gone by already!  It seems like this whole year is going by so fast and I just don't have the time to soak up everything that's been happening!  Well, my cousin's baby was just born this month and it turns out to be a girl!!!  I can't wait to visit the newest addition to our family soon!  We also had a nice cookout for Memorial Day and we had things like ribs, potato salad, crab salad and steaks and I really enjoyed all the food we had for Memorial Day!  We also are trying out a free trial for Netflix and I'm really catching up on a lot of shows that I fell behind on like "Riverdale," "Supergirl," "iZombie" and the rest of the Sharknado movies!  I'm hoping to check out more shows like "Stranger Things," "Black Lightning" and "Bojack Horseman" pretty soon! We so far don't have any plans for the summer, but if we do, I'll definitely let you all know in June!

On the Blog:

WOW!  Guess what?  I just joined another ARC site called OnlineBookClub.org and so far, it's been going pretty well!  I can't wait to read some more books from that site!  Meanwhile, I read less books this month than last month, which is a shame because I was hoping that May would be the month that I would read tons of books since it's so close to summer. So, I really need to try to step up my game in June!  Also, I was taking a break from ordering anymore books from Amazon, since I will go GUNG HO CRAZY if I order stuff from Amazon (because let's face it, Amazon has so many good books and it would be a shame if I didn't take advantage of this)!  I might start going on a buying binge in June to make up for not ordering any books from Amazon in May! Oh yeah and if you saw the little coffee tip bar on the side of the blog, I just joined Ko-Fi! So, if you want me to continue to put out great content for this blog, then please feel free to support me through Ko-Fi!

June TBR:

* I'm still currently reading "This Savage Song" by Victoria Schwab, so that will stay on my TBR list for June. I might add in some new books for my TBR since I started shopping last month. Hopefully I can get through my MASSIVE TBR list soon!

  1. I’m glad you had a good Memorial Day. I had a cookout, too, but I mostly just ate hotdogs. Thanks for giving my post a shout-out. I hope you’re having a good June and getting lots of reading done.

  3. We almost always are watching something on Netflix. My kids are binging series that they don't have time for during the school year and my husband usually finds movies we missed in the theater. Memorial Day was fun here as I play my flute in our town's parade as part of the community band.
