The Sunday Post Meme (78)

Hey everybody! I am participating in a book meme called the Sunday Post which is being hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer! The goal of this meme is to share news you have  on various books and things you’ve read or received and also talk about what is coming up for your blog! Book hauls can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books and you can share these finds with other book bloggers!

Hello everyone.  I just came back from my grandmother's funeral on Saturday and I must say it was quite a depressing experience for everyone who attended the funeral.  The fact that my grandmother was a pillar of strength for everyone, it was very sad to see her depart from this world.  Although, I'm just happy that she is in a better place now and she will surely be missed.  I'm doing my best to recover from this tragedy, but I will admit that it won't be easy and it may take some time in doing so...

Well, that's the Sunday News for today and I will have more news for the various books I've read in the near future!

Posted on Sunday, March 12, 2017.

  1. So sorry the funeral was difficult. I can't imagine how tough it would be. My mom's family doesn't have funerals. Growing up I thought it was odd, but as an adult, I get it. I hope that over the coming months you are able to find the strength to heal.
I love the countdowns on the sidebar. Very cool.
I hope you have a better week!

    1. Thanks. I love those countdowns too! It's great to see what books are coming up!

  2. I am so sorry for your lost. Take it one day at a time, I am sure she will be missed but glad you feel she is in a better place.

  3. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. It's never easy to say goodbye to the people we love. I wish you comfort, healing and peace in the weeks and months to come.

  4. It's always hard to say goodbye, especially to someone special. Hope you manage to find some escape in books this week.

  5. I'm so sorry for your loss. Many hugs to you and your family.

  6. Oh no. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I'm sorry the funeral was so difficult but I hope it's the beginning of the healing process for you.

  7. Sorry to hear about your loss. It is hard when it is such a strong person that seems so vital to everyone. Hope that you have a better week and the healing continues. Thanks for visiting my Sunday Post at Lisa Loves Literature earlier!

  8. I'm very sorry you have lost your grandma. It is sad to lose people we love so much.

  9. Sorry for your loss. Going to a funeral is never easy but you will recover from it. It only takes some time.
