Waiting on Wednesday #31: A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

Hello everyone! "Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, that is hosted by Breaking the Spine and the purpose of this event is that we spotlight upcoming releases of books that we are excited for!  This will also tie into Wishful Ending's Can't Wait Wednesday post!

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

Title:  A Court of Wings and Ruin
Author:  Sarah J. Maas
Expected Publication Date:  May 2nd, 2017

Looming war threatens all Feyre holds dear in the third volume of the #1 New York Times bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses series.

Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's maneuverings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit-and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.

As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords-and hunt for allies in unexpected places.

In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.

I still haven't been able to read any of Sarah J. Maas's highly praised "A Court of Thorns and Roses" series, but this book has still gotten me excited for even more new adventures from this series!

So, what upcoming books are you looking forward to?  Please respond below!

  1. There is a lot of excitement for this book! I haven't read a Maas book in a long time and that's okay with me. One of her tour events for this book is in Baltimore so I might go. I hope you enjoy this book when you get the chance to read it!

    Have a wonderful week. =)

  5. So many people are waiting for this one. I still need to read book 2. I have to admit, Feyre drove me nuts the first 2/3 of book 1 so even though I gave it 4/5, I held off on reading the second one. I have heard it's better though.

  8. I've read the first book in this series -- "A Court of Thorns and Roses". I must be honest here....although, when I started on it, I loved it, later plot developments, especially in the last third of the book, made me reconsider. I still gave it 4 stars, because the writing is gorgeous, and I had a crush on Tamlin. Lol.

Maybe I'll continue the series, and maybe not. But I sure hope all of you who love it, or those who have not started it yet, GREATLY enjoy this latest book!!

Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting on my "Can't Wait Wednesday" post!! HUGS!!! <3 :)
