Book Blogger Hop #25: August 11th - August 17th

Hello everyone! I'm participating in another book meme called the Book Blogger Hop which is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer!  Basically, you just answer weekly questions and then post up your link on the question's page.

This week's question is :

This week's question is submitted by Kristin @ Lukten av Trykksverte!

Do you participate in readathons and/or reading challenges?

Yes! I definitely do participate in a lot of readathons and reading challenges!  I like participating in readathons and challenges because they help me read more books on a yearly basis and they also help me explore different types of books that I would never think about exploring in the first place.  Now, there are times where I do stressed out a bit with reading challenges, especially the monthly challenges, but nowadays, I just do challenges that are a yearly basis so that way I won't have to rush through the books I'm reading just to complete the challenge on time.  The only time I'll try to do a monthly challenge is if the books I read are short and they count towards the challenge or if I already have a set of books lined up to meet the challenge's goals.

  1. I definitely prefer year long challenges to the shorter ones, although sometimes those seasonal ones are nice because they don't take up a lot of time. I hope you have a great weekend, Ronyell!

  2. That's such a great point, doing yearly challenges to avoid rushing! I discovered that I sometimes view reading challenges as to do lists...and with to do lists I ALWAYS rush to complete them lol

    Great post!
