Do you participate in readathons and/or reading challenges?
Yes! I definitely do participate in a lot of readathons and reading challenges! I like participating in readathons and challenges because they help me read more books on a yearly basis and they also help me explore different types of books that I would never think about exploring in the first place. Now, there are times where I do stressed out a bit with reading challenges, especially the monthly challenges, but nowadays, I just do challenges that are a yearly basis so that way I won't have to rush through the books I'm reading just to complete the challenge on time. The only time I'll try to do a monthly challenge is if the books I read are short and they count towards the challenge or if I already have a set of books lined up to meet the challenge's goals.
Do you participate in readathons and/or reading challenges?
I definitely prefer year long challenges to the shorter ones, although sometimes those seasonal ones are nice because they don't take up a lot of time. I hope you have a great weekend, Ronyell!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I also prefer the year long challenges since you don't have to rush through them!
DeleteThat's such a great point, doing yearly challenges to avoid rushing! I discovered that I sometimes view reading challenges as to do lists...and with to do lists I ALWAYS rush to complete them lol
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
Thanks!
DeleteOhh I really want to do the yearly challenges so I don't have to rush my reading too. Do you know any yearly challenges that they are giving around now Ronyell? Thank you so much for stopping by my blog hop Ronyell.
ReplyDeleteSome yearly challenges that are out right now are the ABC challenge, the NetGalley and Edelweiss Challenge, the picture book challenge to name a few.
