October Monthly Wrap Up!

Off the Blog:

Hey everyone!  This month started off pretty well, with me and my family going to my cousin's wedding in Mount Pleasant!  I had a fun time at the wedding and the place where my cousin rented the wedding was so nice and lovely!  If any one of my other cousins get married, expect me to be there!  Meanwhile, we didn't really do anything for Halloween, except eat candy all day (I had some snickers and candy corn) and watch Halloween movies (I really enjoyed watching Halloweentown, Corpse Bride, Scooby Doo on Zombie Island and especially Hocus Pocus)!

On the Blog:

I actually managed to read more books this month than in September (although it's only by one book).  I've read a ton of ARCs for this month and I finally got the chance to read Caraval by Stephanie Garber!  It was such an amazing book and one of the first books that was published this year that I've read!  I've also read one Halloween themed book called Afterlife with Archie, which I really enjoyed so far and I can't wait to check out the second volume which is supposed to come out this year!  Also, for anyone who wants to participate in memes that deal with posting photos of your books and recommending titles with other bloggers, then please feel free to join in both Book Photo Sundays and Recommend Me This! Saturdays!

  3. I didn't have any Halloween candy and no candy corn. I think this is the first year I never bought any and I'm not sure why. It looks like you had a great October, I hope you have a wonderful November too!

  4. Yeay, someone else who watched Scooby on Halloween! I still have to read The Last Magician too. I actually started it in September but it was a bit of a dense read and put it down after 30 pages or so. I guess I wasn't in the right mood for it.
