The Sunday Post Meme (191)

Hey everybody! I am participating in a book meme called the Sunday Post which is being hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer! The goal of this meme is to share news you have  on various books and things you’ve read or received and also talk about what is coming up for your blog! Book hauls can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books and you can share these finds with other book bloggers!

Hey everyone! So, not much has really happened to me this week, which is good as it gives me time to settle down while trying to get used to the new year.  But I will say that the new year is off to a rough start.  What with what happened in the Capitol a few weeks ago.  Now, I normally don't talk about politics here, but I was quite unhappy with how things unfolded at the Capitol. Let's hope that we don't have anymore drama happen this year.  We had enough of it in 2020.

One Word: RELAXING.

(VUDU)

* So, I watched this movie because why not?  And it was....FRUSTRATING! I mean, I think that most of the movie's events could have been avoided if the girls had just told the manager that they lost their ring in the pool!  Seriously, these kinds of movies where the main characters are trapped in a dangerous location just frustrate me to no end!

Has 2021 been a good year for you so far?

*So, here are some good things that happened to me recently!

* The blogging schedule that I made for myself is really helping me out!  I've been struggling with trying to stay on this blog for years and now, making a schedule for myself (as well as for you guys) has really helped me stay focus on this blog!

  1. I usually don't discuss politics either, but that was just so horrible. I'm going with the idea that 2020 needed a couple of extra weeks and it's not 2021's fault. Now, I hope, everything will be better...fingers crossed. Have a great week!

  2. I sure do hope this week won't bring any more violence. It sounds like D.C. is better prepared, at least. Fingers crossed everything goes well with the Inauguration.

Having a blog schedule has certainly helped me. It sounds like you have a good one set up! I hope you have a great week, Ronyell. Take care and happy reading!

  4. Good luck with your reading schedule! I spent a lot of time in the beginning of my blog thinking out why I was blogging, and I've stayed true to my focus, though I've tweaked it now and then.

Let's hope there is no more violence on Wednesday. I've seen lots of things in my life, and that awfulness at the Capitol was among the worst.

    Have a good week!

  5. I agree that this year is not starting out on the best of foot! Hopefully things do get better. I didn't know you were doing beta reader services. I might have to ask you for some help on that at some point if I ever get the motivation to get some of my writing done again! Thanks for visiting my weekly post on Lisa Loves Literature earlier!
