Hey everyone! HAPPY LATE NEW YEAR EVERYBODY (yes, it's late because it's already the end of January)! Anyway, the year has started off a bit...rocky (the capitol riot being the main rocky thing that happened). Despite that though, I think I'm finally getting back into reading again. For all of 2020, I haven't really read any books since so many terrible things were going on in 2020 that they distracted from reading. But, I was able to get out my first review for the year and that makes me happy! Now, I just need to start reading again!

Stacking the Shelves #86: January 30, 2021
Stacking The Shelves is a book meme created by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality and it is about sharing books that you are adding to your shelves, whether it's physical or virtual. This means including books that you bought from the store or online, books you borrowed from friends or from the library, books you've reviewed, gifts and ebooks!

Enjoy your books! I see a Rabbit Ears Production label on The Fool and the Flying Ship. If memory serves me, I believe Robin Williams narrated that one. We loved Rabbit Ears when my sons were small. Meryl Streep narrating The Velveteen Rabbit gets me every time!
ReplyDeleteI get a kick out of Henrik Drescher's art. The Boy Who Ate Around was a favorite of our family. That was written and illustrated by him.
