Top Ten Tuesday #68: Top 10 Binge-Worthy TV Shows

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme that was formerly created at The Broke and the Bookish but has now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week's top 10 Tuesday topic is something a little non-bookish and that's the "Top 10 Binge-Worthy TV Shows!" When I'm not reading any books, I tend to watch a lot of TV and there are a TON of shows that I love to watch while I sit back and relax at home!

So, here's my top 10 Binge-Worthy TV Shows (in no particular order, of course)!

1.  Rick and Morty

This is a show that is just so OUT THERE and CRAZY COOL that I just can't get enough of this series!  I just love the EDGY humor and sci fi elements that this show has to offer!

2.  Friends

You want an old school sitcom that never gets old?  Then watch FRIENDS!!  I swear that I can never get enough of this show and it never gets old for me!

3. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Another OLD-SCHOOL sitcom classic that just never gets old and just stays so FRESH with me for all these years!

4. The Angry Beavers

Oh man!!  This is one NICKTOON that I just can never get enough of and it still remains funny to this very day!

5.  Father Brown

I just LOVE my murder mysteries type of shows and this show is definitely one of the best from British TV!!

6. Lark Rise to Candleford

I just love my period piece TV shows and probably one of the BEST period piece shows I have ever seen is LARK RISE TO CANDLEFORD!  So much DRAMA and ROMANCE in this series that I just fall over head over heels in LOVE with it!

7.  Royal Pains

I just LOVE medical drama shows and ROYAL PAINS is such a FUN and EXCITING show that I usually BINGE on whenever I get the chance to!

8.  Supergirl

This is one of those AWESOME superhero shows that I constantly watch over and over again!  Such great RESPECT for the characters (especially SUPERGIRL herself)!

9. Riverdale

I am seriously in love with the MYSTERY and DRAMATIC tone of this series (even if its based on one of the most LIGHT HEARTED comic book series ever created)!

10. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Oh man!  I just can never get enough of this AWESOME and COOL vampire series!  This is the series that really gave supernatural shows their chance to SHINE!

The Sunday Post Meme (148)

Hey everybody! I am participating in a book meme called the Sunday Post which is being hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer! The goal of this meme is to share news you have  on various books and things you’ve read or received and also talk about what is coming up for your blog! Book hauls can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books and you can share these finds with other book bloggers!

Hey everyone! I haven't been on the blog for last week because I was at Soda City Comic Con last weekend and I had a BLAST!!!  I always enjoyed going to comic cons and this year's comic con was so much better than last year's!  Me and my sister met a lot of great people at the comic con such as Mike Colter (who plays Luke Cage), Billy West and Vic Mignogna!  They were all such nice people and I'm so happy that I finally got the chance to meet some real celebrities this year!  I also managed to get a couple of bookmarks and comic books (Daniel Way's Deadpool and Old Man Logan) from the comic con and I can't wait to read these comics soon!

One Word: HAPPY!!!

(NETFLIX)

* When I heard that Matt Groening (of The Simpsons fame) was going to make another show, I automatically came and switched onto this new show called "Disenchantment!"  So far, it's a bit different from Matt Groening's other shows as the humor is a bit subdued in parts, but I really love the fantasy aspect of this series and I can't wait to see more of this show soon!

(YOUTUBE)

* I have always watched this series on HBO when I was little and I'm so glad to finally be able to watch this entire series on YouTube! I have always loved reading about folktales and fairy tales and I'm so happy that there is a series that's dedicated to folktales and fairy tales!

(NETFLIX)

* Tokyo Ghoul is my newest show on my anime binge list and so far, it's pretty interesting, although a bit too gory (although I love that in a show)!

Cover Spotlight #23: September 2nd, 2018 - September 9th, 2018

Hey everyone!  I just created a new book meme called "Cover Spotlight" where you get to showcase your favorite book covers!  It can be a book cover from a book you've read years ago, a book cover from a book you just recently read or a book cover from a book that you've never read before, but you still love the cover!  You can also feature multiple book covers instead of one for this meme! This is a weekly meme, which means that the meme starts every Sunday, but you have until the Sunday after that week to post your favorite covers!

To tweet your posts, use this hashtag here:

#coverspotlight

Another awesome cover from the DC icons series!  I'm a huge Batman fan and I think that this cover really does this character justice!

Book Photo Sundays #90: September 2, 2018

Hello everyone! Welcome to "Book Photo Sundays" where you get the chance to showcase photos of your books, bookshelves and book conventions you have gone to!  The goal of this book meme is to basically just post up a photo of the various books you have read or your book hauls on your blog and link back here so that way everyone can check out your wonderful book photos!  You can get your book photos through your Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, Iphone or any other account where you can get your photos!

#bookphotosundays

So let's get started!

Also, this will be tied into the September Book Photo Sundays Bookstagram Challenge over at Instagram, so please feel free to check it out!

Hello everyone!  Welcome to another Book Photo Sundays! For the first photo, I am showcasing the books that I'm planning on reading in September, which includes Illuminae, Warcross, Eliza and her Monsters and Legendary!  The second photo is of a blue book stack that I have created!
