April Monthly Wrap Up (2019)

Off the Blog:

Hey everyone!  April has been a pretty slow month for me.  However, several good things happened this month!  For one thing (or two in this case), I was able to check out a lot of fantastic movies this month!  Early on in April, I watched the newest DC movie "Shazam!" in theaters and I LOVED IT!  It was such a hilarious and action packed movie and I can't wait for the sequel to come out.  Next, and probably the biggest news here is that I actually got to watch "Avengers: Endgame" and it was FANTASTIC!!!  This was such a brilliant conclusion to the "Avengers" movies and I can't wait to see the future of the MCU after this point!  As for the Easter holiday, we didn't really do much except eat ham all day! I LOVE ham!

On the Blog:

Unfortunately, I didn't get any reading done this month (which is a first for me).  That was because of two things:  I was on a book buying ban and I'm still getting used to reading mostly chapter books every month.  I'm still trying to deal with my financial problems, so I have decided to not buy any books for awhile until I get my financial situation settled (which is so hard for me to do, especially since there are a lot of awesome books being released right now).  Also, I wanted to try to get back into reading up to 5 chapter books per month like I used to, which was why I wasn't able to finish any books this month.  I'm still trying to get used to reading multiple chapter books each month and I'm hoping to get around to reading more chapter books like "Illuminae," "Shadow of the Fox" and "The Cruel Prince."

  6. I don't go to the theater to see many movies, but Shazam! is definitely one I want to see. It does look like it has lots of humor from the previews. I hope you can get some May reading in.
