Book Blogger Hop #53: May 31st - June 6th

Hello everyone! I'm participating in another book meme called the Book Blogger Hop which is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer!  Basically, you just answer weekly questions and then post up your link on the question's page.

This week's question is :

This week's question is submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Review.

Oh yes!  I've read many books that were over 400 pages and I've enjoyed so many of them!  The "Harry Potter" series has always been one of my all time favorite book series and most of the books in that series were over 400 pages long!

  2. Harry is the perfect example! It seemed from book 4-6 they just kept getting longer and longer! I was slightly dismayed when book 7 wasn't longer than book 6! Lol.

Thanks for visiting my Book Blogger Hop!

    Have a GREAT day!

  3. I love the Harry Potter series! Book size doesn't matter much when I'm swept up in the story. Have a great week, Ronyell!

  4. It's funny how long paged books can feel too short if you really engage with the story.

I have to be honest and say that books with this many pages does tend to put me off, 200-300 is my average. That’s not to say I haven’t read longer and really enjoyed them, there are at least half a dozen books on my Goodreads 5 star rating shelf that are over 400.

I think it helps if there’s enough going on in the plot to keep me engaged, for example, Blade of Darkness by Dianne Duvall was 541 pages long and I absolutely loved it and devoured every page! The same with Monster Hunter International by Larry Correia which is a whopping 735 pages long

  5. Yeah, reading books with more than 400 is not really different then books that are shorter. And Harry Potter is an excellent example! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
