The Sunday Post Meme (108)

Hey everybody! I am participating in a book meme called the Sunday Post which is being hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer! The goal of this meme is to share news you have  on various books and things you’ve read or received and also talk about what is coming up for your blog! Book hauls can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books and you can share these finds with other book bloggers!

Hey everybody!!!  I just finished up the Dewey readathon yesterday, but unfortunately, I was only able to read one book for the readathon, although I did enjoy the book I've read!  Meanwhile, I just saw the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Movie this weekend and while I really enjoyed it, I can understand how it would be a hard movie to watch if you are not a fan of the TV series or you haven't seen the series yet, but I enjoyed it despite all that!  Has anyone else seen the My Little Pony movie?

  1. I haven't watched the My Little Pony shows or movie. I remember when they first came out. So cute:) I think you did good for the challenge. You did read at least one book.

  2. I've always wanted to take part in Dewey's readathon, but I'm never free! But well done on finishing one book, I can't remember the last time I finished a book in a week!

  3. I will read a lot on the weekend, but I cannot commit to the amount of hours I have seen people logging. One book is something. Good job just being a part of it. They actually had a whole My Little Pony room at BookCon this year. We got to meet the cast and have a signed poster. It was a lot of fun.

  5. I am never good at readathons. I am not good at any type of 'thon'. I don't have that kind of stamina for anything! I just get bored to easily. Oh well! Glad you were able to finish a book! Thats great!
    Have a great week!

  6. I really wish they hadn't canceled the Downward Dog series. Seems all the TV I like gets canceled.

    1. I didn't even know this was a TV series until I saw the ABC logo on it. No wonder I've never seen this show on ABC before.

  7. Readathons can be fun because of the cammeraderie, but my schedule is too hectic fore them. Glad you got one book read. That's awesome!

  8. I’m glad you got to participate in the read-athon. I’m sorry you only got to finish one book but, hey, one book is good!

  12. I rarely take part in readathons. I'm not a particularly fast reader so I never seem to get much accomplished. Ha!

    1. I'm not a fast reader myself, so finishing one book in one day is enough for me!

  13. Even if you only read one book what matters is that you enjoyed it!

I took my 3yo to see the My Little Pony movie and she loved it. I have watched some of the TV series with her, so we had no problems and I loved how they did Sia in the movie!
