The Sunday Post Meme (175)

Hey everybody! I am participating in a book meme called the Sunday Post which is being hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer! The goal of this meme is to share news you have  on various books and things you’ve read or received and also talk about what is coming up for your blog! Book hauls can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books and you can share these finds with other book bloggers!

Hey everyone! Is everyone enjoying their July lately?  July has been pretty slow, but I am working on some new projects for myself like trying to make some new designs on Society6 and Redbubble.  Does anyone else have a Society6 or Redbubble account?

One Word: THINKING.

(DVD)

* I rewatched this film again and it was still quite exciting to watch! Dwayne Johnson was just so awesome in this film!

(DVD)

* Another movie I just had to rewatch again!  This is my all time favorite childhood movie and I just loved all the characters and music in this film! I don't know if I'm willing to watch the live action adaptation though...

  1. San Andreas was a good movie and with the earthquakes recently, it's scarily realistic. I love the Lion King! Are you going too see the live action movie of it? It comes out this upcoming week.

    1. Probably not. I honestly haven't been interested in watching any of the live action Disney movies.

  5. I wish my July was also going super slow. Can't wait to see your new designs (I must work on something new too, but it has been difficult to find free time to do it).

    Happy readings! ;)

  6. I don´t have a Redbubble or Society6 account. Etsy is the place I go when I need something graphic or other stuff. But it sounds as if the other two places are worth that I ´ll have a look. Yep, the new Lion King movie. The trailer I´ve seen didn´t convince me and I am asking myself why Disney had to create a remake. But well, life never stops, right? Have a great new week and happy reading.

  7. I watched The Lion King a few months ago. I'd forgotten how good it is. I agree with you; I'm not sure whether I want to see the CGI "live-action" version or not. I'll probably watch it someday, though.

To answer your weekly question: Yes, I'm working on a spinning project, and I have several knitting projects on the needles as well (a pair of socks, a neckwarmer, and a baby blanket.)

  8. I would love some slow time. July has been so busy and flying by for me. Snack Attack looks like such fun!

  9. I love exploring Redbubble and Society6- I find so many genre or fandom related things I want. I could spend a fortune haha!

    Thanks for the shout out!!!!

  11. I hope your new projects go well. I haven’t watched The Lion King in years, I’ll probably watch the live action one eventually.

    Have a great reading week
