The Sunday Post Meme (66)

Hey everybody! I am participating in a book meme called the Sunday Post which is being hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer! The goal of this meme is to share news you have on various books and things you’ve read or received and also talk about what is coming up for your blog! Book hauls can include library books , yard sale finds, arcs and bought books and you can share these finds with other book bloggers!

Hello everyone!  I did it! I finally got my Christmas shopping done and luckily, I didn't run into a crazy crowd to do so!  Now, all I have left to do is to wrap up my gifts before my sisters find out what I got them!  As for the weekend, it was a pretty quiet weekend as I tried to get some reading done and I'm hoping to read some more books for this week!

  1. Wrapping presents was always the task that bugged me as I always seemed to buy something weird shaped! I got a Teddy Bears kids story book on this week's haul...I don't generally buy kids books but the cover of this one was so great and it was free!

    1. That's great! I hope you enjoy the book! Yeah, it's sometimes hard to wrap up gifts, especially if they have weird shapes!

  4. I've got to check out Limbo. How can I resist that title and cover. I have most of my shopping done and some is due in the mail. I will venture out this week to do some impulse buying. LOL

  5. Hi, Ronyell!

SO MANY CONGRATS for getting your Christmas shopping done! I had mine done back in November, but only because I knew I'd be moving out of town the week before Christmas and wanted to make sure I got all the packages before I left.

You had SUCH a full week on the blog, that's awesome! Here's hoping the next week is just as great for you!

Happy holidays to you and yours this season!

Here's my Sunday Post, if you're interested in checking it out. No pressure or worries if you're not, though! Either way, happy book-ing to you in the near future, and have a great week-to-come!

  6. I ended up running out for a last minute present this past weekend and found something else for three family members. LOL I told my husband I am not allowed to go into any more stores until after Christmas. I'm always finding something. I've already spent too much. Isn't it great to be done with the shopping? I hope the wrapping goes well. I usually make my husband help me with that since I am a terrible wrapper, but this year I was too anxious to get it done myself.

I really need to invest in some of those sparkling fruit juices this holiday season . . . Yum.

I hope you have a great week and Merry Christmas!

    1. I'm the same way! I like to shop for more things than is necessary and I have trouble with wrapping some presents! Those Welch's fruit drinks are worth drinking during the holidays! Hope you have a great holiday season!

  17. Indelible sounds very good! It's nice to have your shopping done. I've got to finish mine this week. But most of what I have left is either a gift card, or just some cash. Thanks for visiting my Sunday Post at Lisa Loves Literature earlier!

  18. Wrapping presents is almost fun when I get to listen to a book while doing it! I think I got tired looking at your post - looks like you have been super busy. Your snow kids are so cute. (BTW - the Dachshund T shirt caught my eye!) I will check out your Book Photo Sundays - I have a few posts I could link up I think. :-)
I hope you have a wonderful reading week and a Very Merry Christmas!
