Hey everybody! I am participating in a book meme called the Sunday Post which is being hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer! The goal of this meme is to share news you have on various books and things you’ve read or received and also talk about what is coming up for your blog! Book hauls can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books and you can share these finds with other book bloggers!
Well, it's the second week of the New Year and just for this week, I'm re-reading some old classics that I've read during my childhood. But hopefully next week, I'll start reading some new books for the new year and I already got some good books on hold at the library that will complete some of my reading goals! I'm also getting into some new challenges this year, including the Bookish Bingo and the Alphabet Challenge and I hope to get past them this year!
- Rabid Reads asks a new and interesting question for the New Years, "What Was Your First Read / Listen of 2015?
- Check Happy Indulgence's Chatterbox "2015 Commitments."
- Check out Caffeinated Book Reviewer's new recipe "Snicker Salad and Pierce Brown."
Well, that’s the Sunday News for today and I will have more news for the various books I’ve read in the near future!

I just stumbled on some of my children's books when I was redoing a closet. This sounds like a great idea. To reread and post about them. I read a lot of young readers books and blending the old and new would be fun.

Yeah, that's what I love about re-reading older children's books! You get to share the books you grew up on with other readers!
DeleteI think it is great you spent the week re-reading old favorites. Hope this week you find a new favorite!

DeleteReading old favorites can be so good, sometimes! When my kids were younger, I loved reading my own favorites to them :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading Ronyell, have a great week.

Thanks!
DeleteI think it's great you read some of your old childhood books, it's not something I do myself but only because I've never really thought of doing it. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my post.
