Hey everybody! I am participating in a book meme called the Sunday Post which is being hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer! The goal of this meme is to share news you have on various books and things you’ve read or received and also talk about what is coming up for your blog! Book hauls can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books and you can share these finds with other book bloggers!
Hey everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR! Yeah, it's kind of late saying that, but I wanted to say that in one of my Sunday Posts (which I have been neglecting lately). Anyway, I had started my Fiverr account a few months ago and I was starting up a beta reading service. Well the good news is that...I actually got my first CUSTOMER!!! The customer was very satisfied with my services and I was so happy that I was able to help out an author with their work! I also started up a new gig over at Fiverr called "Promoting Your Book on Instagram," where I will promote an author's book on my Instagram account. I'm hoping that my Fiverr services continue to grow in the near future!

One Word: DETERMINATION!!!
(DVD)
* I will admit that I was a bit hesitant about watching this movie because Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu and the designs of these characters didn't sound pleasing to me. But then I finally watched this movie and I was pleasantly surprised by how GOOD this film was! I really loved the story of Pokémon and humans living in a world together and the mystery aspect of the story. Now let's hope that the new "Sonic the Hedgehog" movie is as good!
(DVD)
* I thought this movie was okay. The action sequences are pretty well done. But I felt that the story was a bit too thin and it focused too much on the action and less on the plot and the characters. I am interested in seeing "Godzilla vs. Kong" though.
(NETFLIX)
* FINALLY! I got around to watching this show and it's pretty good so far! I like how the show approaches the dark side of Hollywood in a fairly realistic way. I only made it halfway through the first season so far, but I'm planning on watching the rest of this series soon in time for the finale!
What movies have you seen lately?

ReplyDeleteI felt pretty much the same way about Godzilla.
Thanks!
DeleteYour first customer! Excellent news. I hope you enjoyed the experience. I used to edit college papers for students when I was a young mother. It was a lot of work, I thought.
ReplyDeleteGodzilla was just okay? That's too bad.
Have a lovely week.
Thanks! You too!!
DeleteCongratulations on getting your first customer! Bummer about Godzilla. I guess I'll keep my expectations low and just have fun with the action if I do watch it. Happy reading, Ronyell! :)

DeleteGood ideas on Fiverr! We enjoy watching Detective Pikachu (bought it because our eight-year-old wanted to re-watch it so much). Godzilla was also popular for a weekend via Redbox :)
ReplyDeleteCool!
