November Monthly Wrap Up (2018)

Off the Blog:

Hey everyone! Not a lot happened in November for me, except me trying to get my driver's licence. But, I had a fantastic Thanksgiving and we had a great Thanksgiving dinner!  We had turkey, stuffing, cheesecake, pecan pie and collard greens and neck bones!  We also watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (which is a holiday tradition for us) and I just loved everything that went on the parade!  Probably my favorite part of the parade is the Goku balloon, which I believe was the first time they had that balloon in the parade.  Let's hope I pass my driver's test in January!

On the Blog:

Just like last month, I read over 3 books. I was trying to read up to 4 books for this month, but I got so busy in November that I didn't have time.  Oh well, at least this reading month was way better than the amount of books I read in November for last year.  I also participated in NaNoWriMo this month, but unfortunately I didn't reach the 50,000 word mark.  Oh well, at least I got over 8,000 words in and I'm planning on finishing this book by next year!

BEST OF THE MONTH: Saga Volume 8 by Brian K. Vaughan

Books Bought in November:

* Even though I didn't buy as many books this month like I did in October, I still got a good load of books here, including one ARC given to me by a publisher!  Here are the books I got for November:

December TBR:

* I still haven't read any books here, although I'm busy reading through an ARC that an author gave me.  So, hopefully I'll get through these books in December!

  1. Hope the driver's licence thing is going okay, it sure is a biggie when you're doing it. I am still no good at parallel parking but have been studying online videos and practising. And I've had my licence for years!! All the best with your reading for December.

  2. Good luck with your driver's test. I'm happy you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed the food, parade, and family. We always watched America's Thanksgiving Day parade that proceeds through Detroit.
