Stacking the Shelves #67: December 1, 2018

Stacking The Shelves is a book meme created by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality and it is about sharing books that you are adding to your shelves, whether it's physical or virtual.  This means including books that you bought from the store or online, books you borrowed from friends or from the library, books you've reviewed, gifts and ebooks!

Hey everyone! I can't believe that it's December already!  Man, November sure went by so fast!  Anyway, I wasn't able to get over 50,000 words for the NaNoWriMo contest, but at least I got in over 8,000 words. So I'm pretty happy about that!  Has anyone else joined in NaNoWriMo this year?  And if not, are you planning on joining next year?  Since it's December now, I'm going to watch some Christmas specials like "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer," "Frosty the Snowman," and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"

  3. This is the first year since I learned about NaNo that I didn't participate. I decided to not kid myself into thinking I could get much of anything written. I'm kind of sad I skipped out, but I know it would have just been too much added stress with everything else I had going on this November.

I've been watching holiday movies lately too, and reading holiday books, and just trying to get as festive as I can while I can't decorate my house like normal at the moment due to internal repairs that still need to be done.

Hope you have a great week. - Katie
