Book Blogger Hop #38: December 8th - December 14th




Hello everyone! I'm participating in another book meme called the Book Blogger Hop which is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer!  Basically, you just answer weekly questions and then post up your link on the question's page.

If you celebrate Christmas, do you feel the need to stop reading anything but Christmas-themed romances as the holiday season starts?


Not really. While I do occasionally read Christmas books during the holiday season, I usually read any other kind of book during the holiday seasons.  I just enjoy reading all different kinds of books and just reading one set of books due to the holiday season sort of limits me from reading what I want to read.

    That's how I usually do things too! It has been this year I have had more holiday reads on my TBR for this month! I probably was a bit too ambitious haha.

    Same here! I do love the Hallmark-ish romance stories, but I don't only read books from that genre during December :)

    I guess not everyone is as much of a Christmas addict as I am, lol. Around Thanksgiving, I suddenly get this CRAVING to start reading Christmas romances! Seriously. I don't know why, but I've been feeling like this for the past few years. Must be the mushy "warm fuzzies"....they've been growing on me! :) :)

    Hi there! I celebrate Christmas but I don't drop everything I'm doing (and reading) to read only holiday-themed books. I just don't think there is enough good stuff out there to do that year after year for a full month. I do read a couple holiday/winter books or stories but I mix them in with my normal TBR.

    I usually try to plan my reading at least a little bit so I can squeeze in a few holiday themed books in December, but I get so easily distracted that I don't always stick to it.
