So today’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is my top 10 (12) Authors that I've Read the Most Books From.
So, here's my top 10 (12) Authors that I've Read the Most Books From. (in no particular order).
1. Neil Gaiman
Neil Gaiman is seriously one author that I've read a lot of books from, which includes his "Sandman" graphic novel series, Coraline, American Gods and The Graveyard Book!
2. Dr. Seuss
Dr. Seuss is probably my most readable author for children's books since I've read almost everything from his work which includes The Cat in the Hat, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Lorax and The Butter Battle Book!
3. Henrik Drescher
Since I am a huge fan of Henrik Drescher's artwork in general , I would read absolutely any book that was either written or illustrated by him which included The Fool and the Flying Ship, Simon's Book, Looking for Santa Claus and Pat the Beastie!
4. Patricia Polacco
Patricia Polacco's books have always connected with me in some kind of way, so this is another children's author that I read a lot of books from , which includes The Lemonade Club, Mr. Lincoln's Way, The Junkyard Wonders and Pink and Say.
5. Mo Willems
I just loved Mo Willems' work and any book that he has written, I will automatically grab. So I've read a lot of books from this author which includes the "Pigeon" series, the "Knuffle Bunny" series, Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs and Edwina the Dinosaur Who Didn't Know she was Extinct.
6. Maurice Sendak
After reading "Where the Wild Things Are," I just fell in love with Maurice Sendak's works in general and I have read so many books from him which includes Where the Wild Things Are, the "Nutshell Kids" library and Outside Over There.
7. Chris Claremont
Chris Claremont has written many "X-Men" comics and being a huge fan of the X-Men, I've read so many comics written by him that dealt with the X-Men which includes The Dark Phoenix Saga, God Loves Man Kills, Days of Future Past and Mutant Massacre.
8. Brian K. Vaughan
I have always loved the way that Brian K. Vaughan gets creative with his work and I would pick up any comic that is written by him which includes Saga, Y: The Last Man and Runaways.
9. Rumiko Takahashi
After reading "Ranma 1/2" countless times, I just picked up a lot of manga works by Rumiko Takahashi, which includes Ranma 1/2 and Rin-Ne.
10. Lisa Kleypas
I am love with Lisa Kleypas' romance novels, so I've read quite a lot of books by her which includes almost all of the "Hathaway" series, the "Travises" series and the "Wallflowers" series!
11. Teresa Medeiros
Teresa Medeiros was the first romance author I've read and therefore I've started reading almost every book written by her which includes Nobody's Darling, The Devil Wears Plaid, and Fairest of them All.
12. Stephen King
I've read many Stephen King books when I was younger which includes Carrie, Pet Sematary and the Cycle of the Werewolf and since I'm planning on reading more books by him in the near future, he definitely makes my list!
Oh my, Rumiko Takahashi! I used to be such a big fan of Inuyasha when I was younger haha :)
